Product Details
Graphite is widely used in the electrical industry for a variety of applications, including electrodes, brushes, carbon rods, carbon tubes, the positive electrodes of mercury rectifiers, graphite gaskets, telephone components, coatings for television picture tubes, and more. Among these, flake graphite electrodes are the most extensively used. When smelting various alloy steels and ferroalloys, graphite electrodes are employed. In this process, a powerful electric current is passed through the electrodes into the melting zone of the furnace, generating an electric arc that converts electrical energy into thermal energy. The temperature rises to around , thereby achieving the purpose of melting or chemical reactions.
